1) Steal 100 pounds from an old person?
2) Steal 100,000 pounds from a bank?
3) Kill someone for 1,000,000 pounds?
> Who said it would have to be armed robbery? Why not simple fraud?
But that's the inherent fault with these types of questions. The only way you can answer them is if you go into great detail about the effects of what hypothetical choice has on the people affected by it. As mentioned, what if it's an extraordinarily rich old millionare, who's a total ass? It would be a resounding "yes."
Everyone so far is assuming it's the poor old bloke / woman who lives just down the street who's going to freeze to death if you steal it.
I say it's
1) A rich millionare
2) An armed robbery on a bank, traumatising someone to a breakdown.
3) Mahatma Gandhi
And that totally changes all answers.
Sorry. Bored. :D

Armed robbery is not a victimless crime.

You only want to rob a bank so you can pretend it's Dog Day Afternoon.
Mohammed Al Fayed is pretty old. Does he count?

Its alot less personal if you don't know who's money is.
