It's 22:36 as I write this, and outside (my window's open because it's nice and warm) there are about 4-5 kids "playing". By playing I mean screaming at each other and kicking a football. And by kids, I mean between five and ten years old.
Little kids outside at half-ten at night playing. And they're not kids that live nearby either, as in a few doors away.
What the hell kind of parents let their small children out at this time of night?
"Got nar school tomorrow innit?" says the eldest (the irony of that)
Oh well that's ok then, what was I thinking?
Of course you can play outside at nearly quarter to eleven because there's no school tomorrow!
*slaps forehead* Silly me.
Yet were these feral babycrims to be murdered and taped for internet childsexsnuff flicks, the parents would sob and plead on national television about how "we've been robbed of our li'le angel! he never done no 'arm to noone".
Pfffft, so we lose another deliquent.
*looks out window*
Nope, world's still turning.
I wouldn't want my 5-10 year old child having to walk home in the dark at that time of night? By all means have fun, but Christ, do the parents even care?
Maybe I'd just worry too much if there's something I'm not seeing here, but I don't think that's exactly a fantastic way to look after your kids.
"As long as decent intelligent people stand up for themselves and whats right hopes not lost yet."
*wipes away tear*
They all wear as short stuff as possible.
And are just plain idiots.
i still think the good outnumber the bad
--------
True, but the bad are more vocal and more visible (when do you ever read about someone giving up their seat on the bus?) so as you said, people will always focus on them.

True, but you can at least try to minimise the number of people out to shaft everyone else.
Gamesfreak, I agree that money-driven crime is a big problem, but a lot seems to be bored/socially retarded kids out to kill time and d*** on people.
That seems tougher to solve - instead of dealing with the motivation, you have to deal with the attitude of a mass of bellends.
For my two cents, being hard on crime (Tory) comes across better than being intelligent and tackling the root causes (Lib Dem), and while another completely different set of bellends will disregard the good of the country in favour of an easier message to sell and some cheap pr points over the rival parties, we're not going to get anywhere.
So really, the problem is a bunch of cockfaces who don't give a toss about the wellbeing of the people they hurt, in pursuit of their own ends.
And the people we depend on to solve the problem are bunch of cockfaces who don't give a toss about the wellbeing of the people they hurt, in pursuit of their own ends.
Maybe there's no hope after all.
As for the jobs thing there will always be lazy people and there will always be greedy people who wont play by the rules.
I still blame the media for poisoning everyone against each other, you can't tell me you dont walk down the street thinking "Bloody kids, theyre all criminals".
Great! But, they're kind of not really sourcing out the main problem at hand.
Crime is mostly done to get money, no?
Money is earned through work, right?
Obviously this is just my hypothetical viewpoint, but surely eliminating the problem of unemployment will raise peoples self esteem, move away from crime, become more responsible earning parents.
Meh, maybe the whole 'Chav' thing came from backlash of Tory Power; unemployment was rife, people became careless and couldn't be bothered to move on etc - and now the kids of that generation are picking these values up and causing havoc.
Please don't take this too seriously, to be honest I have no real idea what I am talking about, just got a bit of an active imagination.
