Asher tried to do this a while ago and it clearly rocked ass, i thought it was a good idea so i'm going to try and revive it.
I want a group of people who can recommend one track a day which hopefully people will listen to and pass judgement on. The idea is just to introduce people to new music.
I'm planning on starting Monday with one track for each day of the week and i'll revolve the days around the people involved.

pft, I'm more interested in if you liked it or if you didn't. Not to everyone's taste.

Someone summed up the Ramones better than I ever could.. paraphrased

"I bought their first album on release and I have a Ramones t-shirt that I still wear today. But.. they were a really crap band. The singer couldn't sing, they could barely play their own instruments.. but they were the BEST crap band there has ever been and nobody else sounds anything like them."

I didn't think anyone would like them at all, but I think they were fantastic :)

Downloading now.

As for the song yesterday - I didn't like it.
I didn't find it particularly horrible, but I was glad when it ended.

I didn't reply because I didn't think I had any worthwhile comments to make, but there you go, since you asked.

I'm thinking about removing some people due to a lack of comments, i expect after a while i'll have a solid group of people and the people who can't be bothered will drop out.

Hmmm ... of theirs?
Dunno, this is the best (by far) on the album Those Who Tell The Truth ............. although everything else on there is pretty decent.

And they have another album called The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead Place which I haven't picked up yet.

Nick Drake - Things Behind The Sun
Mm :)
That's all that needs to be said really. Really, guitar, his voice and everything is always so great.

Thursday 5th - The Ramones - Bonzo Goes To Bitburg (Grix Thraves)
Um.. couple of listens and I feel like getting drunk. Still can't make my mind up about it. It's definitely a good one for punching the air with. Will listen again and try be more.. wordy.

Friday 6th - Explosions In The Sky - Greet Death (FFF)
This is nice.. :) Damn long time to download, but it was worth the wait. It did feel a bit ruined(?) when it got noisy or whatever, but it really is a nice song to just sit and relax to.
