Asher tried to do this a while ago and it clearly rocked ass, i thought it was a good idea so i'm going to try and revive it.
I want a group of people who can recommend one track a day which hopefully people will listen to and pass judgement on. The idea is just to introduce people to new music.
I'm planning on starting Monday with one track for each day of the week and i'll revolve the days around the people involved.

Yep i know, the idea is supposed to be it's a trade off, you recommend something that everyone listens to you listen to everyone else, there are 28 people in this and we're getting only 3-5 comments a day.
Not on really.

Not really my type of music usually, I wouldn't have minded it if it had ended after the first 3-4 minutes. It just sounded to me like they were faffing around with demos on the keyboards for the rest of the tune.

The loud bit's the best bit. So very uplifting.
Does go on a bit near the end, though ... but on my mp3 player I've got it back to back with End of Music (by Do Make Say Think) which has about a 3 minute build-up to another amazing climax. They fit so perfectly together.

So there you go.

Well thank you all of the three people who commented, one of which already had the track before. Thanks! Bast**ds! :D

Downloading EITS now. Didn't they have the album that was released a day before Sept 11th and had the picture of a plane crashing? Explosions in the Sky? Creepy. At least, what I'd heard.

Explosions In The Sky - Greet Death
A lesson in not reading a book by it's cover, i was fully expecting something that would make my ears bleed, what i got what almost sounds like The Cranberries backing music at times, a sort of dreamy, gentle, i was going to call it acoustic but it's not.
The only part i didn't like was around 1:30 when it gets very loud, otherwise it was nice, if i had been wearing headphones i would have been wondering when it finished though.

Ooh ... my go tomorrow.
Didn't quite realise how long the song is ... which is a bit annoying for y'all. It's only really the first 3 minutes which are teh r0><0rz anyway.

I'm still a sufferer.

Alright. I suppose it's just not my kind of music at all, I could maybe see it growing on me over time (I can actually listen to the Futureheads now, previously I would be forced to fork my ears), but so far not really a fan.
