Asher tried to do this a while ago and it clearly rocked ass, i thought it was a good idea so i'm going to try and revive it.
I want a group of people who can recommend one track a day which hopefully people will listen to and pass judgement on. The idea is just to introduce people to new music.
I'm planning on starting Monday with one track for each day of the week and i'll revolve the days around the people involved.

Yeah, excellent. FTM is awkward because listening to one song it kinda sounds incomplete, you have to listen to the whole album to really appreciate it. This sounded a lot more like a song, rather than just part of an album. Which is nice. Show how much the vocals changed for FTM, too.

Really should get Deloused and some ATDI. Heard a few of their songs and they seem good.

Todays was better than I expected, wasn't really my type of music but I've heard much worse.

You people will probably hate me for saying this but when I first started listening to it I honestly thought I'd accidentally downloaded an Evanescance (sp?) song.

wow! Today's song is really good! Whoever recommended it must have great taste in music!!

Anyway, yeah.

When ATDI split up they separated into the normal-hairs (Sparta) and the afros (TMV). TMV are the two 'main' people from ATDI, Cedric and Omar.

It can be quite difficult to get into their music at the start, but they grow on you. I didn't like them initially and now they're my favourite band.

De-Loused in the Comatorium is the album I'd recommend.
Frances the Mute is great as well, but DITC is more structured and musically tight in my opinion, whereas FTM tends to wander off the point a lot. If you like DITC, you should obviously get FTM as well though.

ATDI's music is actually a lot different, which you can see on Nash's day :' }

Very good, I really like the Mars Volta.. Nash I think, maybe Azul sent me some songs a while back, really liked them too, so I think I'll go invest in an album some time.

Also: Nash said they were mainly At the Drive-In? Looking forward to that song too.

Recommendations on albums?

Spent like 5 minutes looking for Eriatarka by TMV, then figured out TMV stood for The Mars Volta. Have to say though, TMV don't do it for me.

But Nick Drake is quality. Garden State (OST) has to be the best OST I've heard. Period.

(Also if Mouldy Cheese / Hoju / Paradox: don't turn up I have plenty of recommendations...)

The Mars Volta.. *stares at lava lamp*

This is definitely one of those songs that you must be in the mood for..and, I've really tried hard to get there. Maybe I'm just on the wrong substance? *guzzles coffee*

Gosh, I just don't know where this song's going to take me and after the first listen, I felt like I was thrown about the room and then kidnapped by aliens.

Overall, I think these guys are serious..quite talented artists. The music seems created more for film soundtrack.

It's intense. :)
