Asher tried to do this a while ago and it clearly rocked ass, i thought it was a good idea so i'm going to try and revive it.
I want a group of people who can recommend one track a day which hopefully people will listen to and pass judgement on. The idea is just to introduce people to new music.
I'm planning on starting Monday with one track for each day of the week and i'll revolve the days around the people involved.

Jefferson Airplane - Have You Seen the Stars Tonight?
It's good, but doesn't seem to grab your attention. I was kind of waiting for it to leap out and grab me and it never really did.

Tuesday 7th - Five Horse Johnson - Bleachin' Bones - (Lord Funk)
I like muchly, probably could have done with being more acoustic or funky instead of rocky but otherwise i like quite a lot.

Wednesday 8th - Porcupine Tree - She's moved on - (gamesfreak)
Like a second rate Radiohead without Thom Yorke, awful singer, which is a shame for the others because musically it's not bad.

Thursday 9th - Biffy Clyro - Joy.Discovery.Invention - (Down)
Not been able to find yet

Friday 10th - Jefferson Airplane - Have You Seen The Stars Tonight? (Ms NY)
I listened to this ages ago and i can't remember thinking much of it.
Like Bowie crossed with Dylan, an odd mix, never really bursts into life or has a hook and is forgettable.

Yeah, other than that bit it's a pretty solid song.

Well it started good. Then it has that incredibly cheesy bit. Then went good. Then the cheesy bit again.

Why? Urgh.

Anyways. Nice singing. Like the simple guitaring too. Really nice song.

Now heavy. Argh. Yes. 'Tis good.

Oh so spoilt by the whole "Get up get up get over" thing. Although I really liked the rest of the song.
