Asher tried to do this a while ago and it clearly rocked ass, i thought it was a good idea so i'm going to try and revive it.
I want a group of people who can recommend one track a day which hopefully people will listen to and pass judgement on. The idea is just to introduce people to new music.
I'm planning on starting Monday with one track for each day of the week and i'll revolve the days around the people involved.

Today's was alright. I liked how the guitar started off as sort of drifty and then got sharper and more electric towards the end. Vocals weren't bad either. Not something I'd jump at the chance to listen to again, but it wasn't bad - quite memorable.
Yeah I can see where you are all coming from. I picked the song because it gets better after a few listens. I've seen them playing live and when that comes on the atmosphere is almost electric.
Probably a bad song to pick by them, because they are actually quite similar to bands like Tool, A Perfect Circle and Dream Theater, their music is quite a lot heavier.
If you want to hear more 'heavy' Porcupine Tree, I'd reccomend quickly downloading Blackest Eyes

I think this is the sort of thing i wouldnt buy, but i would listen to it on the radio and not change the station. As others have said...its ok for background. 4/10

Not my cuppa coffee, but y'know, it's not annoying or anything so it could easily play in the background. When it gets to the chorus, is when it puts me off for sure. Not the worst though :)

Don't like his voice. It sounds almost the same as the previous song.. This voice also reminds me of Nickleback(sp?) for some reason. The song's a bit boring too, sounds repetitive.
