...who really isn't that excited about Halo 2?
I've read a couple of reviews, and most of them have left me thinking "Yeah, so what?" I've got it pre-ordered and I'm not going to cancel it.
I'm just left feeling a little underwhelmed, especially as I don't have Live.
Still, hopefully it will live up to my own expectations....

Isin't that what Halo 2 is? Halo extended, a sequel. Extended storyline.

Co-op is the best way to play Halo, and I imagine it'll be the best way to play Halo 2 as well. On Legendary, natch. Xbox Live play is a bonus, although I'll be cancelling my Live subscription if Microsoft let me. Anyone know an easy way?

I wasn't interested in Halo 2 either, however, now that I've seen it in action I think it's great, my favourite game bar the GTA series.
Just watched the Video Review.
Multi-player LIVE just looks like Unreal with a different mapping. The single player runs at 30fps not 60fps which someone around here has been saying for a while. It basically looks like Halo with Normal Mapping which is what I was expecting from the start.
Oh and once again, IGN managed to talk a crazy amount of crap. I think nearly everyone has commented on the crap story and repetition with the area textures but no "the story is once again fantastic and no more level repetition problems".

I have an Awards evening on the 11th and i've just found out that it'll be going on for 2 hours.
2 hours of watching people going up onto the stage and collecting a Certificate. I wish I never told my parents that I got an award now...

Other than the PC thing, after watching a video walkthrough thing of one of the Halo 2 multiplayer levels, I kinda feel the same.
Haven't been on Live properly now for a long time and to be honest I'm not sure if I can be bothered with putting up with all the assholes online.
I'll try it out and see how good it is, but I can't say I'm particuarly excited about it.
