Is there anything he can do to sort this out? Like getting a different scart cable?
~Thanks~

i suppose £3.99 isnt too much to lose, but you should still go back and try and get another one/refund if you can be bothered.
They are useful and it saves keep reaching round the back of your TV to change the Scart plugs
Does that make as much sense as I think it does?
And before anyone says "but ive got a scart cable and its fine" you probably dont have a proper 21 pin cable.

Similar thing happened to me. My PS2 and Xbox work fine, but my DVD player doesnt have any sound on it. I still have to swich cables now so it seems pointless having the adaptor.
So no ideads how to get around the flashy screen whilst still been able to plud through the vid?
I remember seeing advertisements a few years back for regular DVD players that could be "chipped" to avoid the copy protection for cases such as your own. I've no idea if this can be done for the PS2 and have no idea of the price, but as far as I am aware, messing with the inside of the hardware is the only way to get around this.
