So if you have an old TV with no 60hz mode, you're screwed.
Once again Nintendo shows its love for Europe....
I mean, and I could be wrong here, but don't American games run on a 60hz-only setting, or something? Therefore, Nintendo would have only the language differences to sort out before the PAL version is ready.
Doesn't bother me, anyway. I have a nice 21" TV - and an RGB Scart Lead to go with it! :)
(I still won't be buying Echoes for a while, though...)
Is this really such a problem for people today, though?
I mean, how many people DO still use stone-age TVs for playing their 30-odd brand-new games on, anyway??
With a game like Metroid Prime 2, it's hardly gonna affect sales, now, is it! If it means quicker releases, I'm all for it!
Translations do take a while... fortunatly Nintendo's translators teams are rather good and quick.
Converting the game to 50htz, as in slowing down everything, takes a while.
Nintendo were adament the game hits Europe this year as there isn't a major release in America or Europe.
The sad thing is there isn't really one in Japan either since Resident Evil 4 was pushed to January.

And before you pick, Dringo, I was attempting humour.

I know you were joking, just rather making you "aware".

I'm fully aware of what you're like Dringo.
