Who would you give the award for best bad guy in the history of all games?

Would you say Robotnik of Sonic was the best bad guy? Ganandorf from Zelda maybe? Or maybe would you go for one of those other bad guys like Trevelyen in Goldeneye?

And what would you say was the most cunning plan a bad guy has ever had? Are there any bad guys who have had an original idea (ie. not stealing the princess or trying to destroy the world with a laser?)

I've aways thought Robotnik was a great enemy. But Cats was good too, just for getting his lines wrong. :D

Bowser and Robotnik have been evil bad guys for a long time now.
Now that Sega are making games for Ninty's new consoles, maybe there's a chance of a game pitting them against each other or side by side. You never know, it could happen.

I think robotnik, he is evil! and has been for 10 years!

I suppose my fave bad guy would have to be: That one from Shenmue that killed Ryo's father, I am sorry I can't remember his name.

The best bad guy I would say is Wario and the only one I can think of who gets his own game!!
