Who would you give the award for best bad guy in the history of all games?

Would you say Robotnik of Sonic was the best bad guy? Ganandorf from Zelda maybe? Or maybe would you go for one of those other bad guys like Trevelyen in Goldeneye?

And what would you say was the most cunning plan a bad guy has ever had? Are there any bad guys who have had an original idea (ie. not stealing the princess or trying to destroy the world with a laser?)

I can't make my mind up right now. Please list your top 5 bad guys and favourite bad guy evil schemes here!

Bowser, is in fact, part turtle, part dragon. His Koopas are Turtles though.

it has to be bowser of mario. hes in all the mario games and hes the first baddy i heard of

Robotnik. Sorry all of you, I used to be the ultimate hardcore Sonic fan. I have played all of Sonic's games. ALL OF THEM. I've even got Sonic Aventure on Dreamcast. Robotnik has got to be the best bad guy. Because he has all those machines set to kill Sonic, and when Sonic defeats him, he still stays alive.

Also, in Sonic adventure, it shows that Robotnik is actually quite good aswell, because he teams up with Sonic for a moment to destroy Chaos...he fails, of course. But that's just what comes from being the ultimate bad guy doesn't it?
