Who would you give the award for best bad guy in the history of all games?

Would you say Robotnik of Sonic was the best bad guy? Ganandorf from Zelda maybe? Or maybe would you go for one of those other bad guys like Trevelyen in Goldeneye?

And what would you say was the most cunning plan a bad guy has ever had? Are there any bad guys who have had an original idea (ie. not stealing the princess or trying to destroy the world with a laser?)

I can't make my mind up right now. Please list your top 5 bad guys and favourite bad guy evil schemes here!

Dunno, that sounds like an order, and I only take orders from one person and that's me. Not being nasty, but your message did.

Phantasy Star has some nasty baddies, and the end boss has to be the most evil looking sucker I've ever seen, he even feels evil.
