Oh my, aren't you angry.

Well don't worry. All shall become clear.

I've been looking at the "winners" of the past console wars... and I've come to a conclusion.

If your console is made from black plastic, then it's going to get blown out of the water.

Don't believe me? Let's check the facts.
NES [Grey] vs. Master System [Black] Winner: NES
SNES [Grey] vs. Megadrive [Black] Winner: SNES, but not by much.
Saturn [Black] vs. PSX [Grey] Winner: PSX
PSX [Grey] vs. N64 [Black] Winner: PSX

And even though the Gameboy used four colours, all of which were grey, and the others were WAY advanced...
Game Boy [Grey] vs. Game Gear [Black] Winner: Game Boy
Game Boy [Grey] vs. Lynx [Black] Winner: Game Boy

See what I mean? Not convinced still?

32X [Black], Mega-CD [Black], 64DD [Black], Turbographix-16 [Black], Jaguar [Black], Neo-Geo [Black]

All failed machines.

It could be the other way around, saying that only grey machines are the best...

It is in our nature to be kind, loving and forgiving...it is only all the crap in the world that is changing this...

I know it is silly to apply this to this post and hey, most people go for black TV's and yes there are other kinds... but would you prefer to be at peace, relaxed in a field lying down sunbathing with your girl/boy/sheepfriend (:D) or sitting in a nightclub full of freaks with guns, drugs and knives...with loud music and satanicy surroundings....? And don't pretend to be coo and say the latter cause you don't know who you're messing with.

I'd choose the first...I love 'nice' stuff, I hate evil things...Survival Horrors...yeah right...Gimmie a break....I sneer not at those who play them but they aren't for me...

But Grix, the Gamecube isn't Grey...but at least it isn't Black....Yahooooo.....But Purple....and Pink...Bloody Ms Miyamoto, as if she wan'ts a pink Gamecube...COW!....there are places for people like her....namely France....bloody French, who eats frogs legs anyway......Wierdos...

Nearly as bad as the Germans......Meh! WE WON THE WAR...But killing is nothing to be proud of....and it is also something that people fear and don't like...which works in suit with my first opinion humans, naturally, prefer good, not evil...most people would rather save a life over taking one....Maybe it is a silly side effect of our good nature, maybe it's all marketing...

You are right though...the Black consoles didn't do too wella lthough the PS2 has every chance of achieving Mega-Drive success even if it doesn't match the Gamecube in porularity terms....

Hmmm... I wouldn't call the PS2 stylish.

Unless I lived in the 80's. Then it would be "modern".

Interesting thought. It would be quite funny if developers started believing this. Seriously though, I think it is jsut a large coincidence.
