I'm considering this http://www.dabs.com/uk/productView.htm?quicklinx=31G6 because I know it'll take my P4 2.8. But if it can take a P4Extreme 3.2, I'll invest in a new processor at the same time.

Cheers.

That's not a bad price at all. Sure you wanna stay AGP and not go for PCI-E?

Ah, good :)

Well, since Dabs declined my Buy Now Pay Later request for some odd reason (it's a first - I'm puzzled actually, perhaps it's because I've just got a Mortgage etc.), I'm now thinking of buying this kit and building around it:

For gaming certainly. That's the same CPU as me. Go AMD! I'm on socket 754..I'm actually considering selling my old board and CPU soon myself and going socket 939.

Thinking of changing to AMD actually :S

Is an AMD 64 3200+ (socket 939) better than a P4 3.2?

Oh yes. Managed to get a fair price for my old system, rebuilding the bits I'm taking with me.

And with the Finance offered by Dabs, I'm sorted :D

Just need confirmation by certain parties then I can get to ordering!

Great, it'll take a 3.2 according to MSI.

Can you give me your opinion on the setup I've gone for? It's not meant to be Super-duper or anything:

MSI 875P Neo-FISR s478 Mobo
Intel P4E-HT 3.2Ghz 800FSB 1Mb
Akasa Intel S478 P4 3.4Ghz Copper base cooler w/blue LEDs
Antec Silver Thermal Compound
Antec Super LANboy case
Antec 550PGB True Power Supply

Will that suffice as a Barebones? I don't need any extra heatsinks etc. do I? I'll be chucking my current HDD/DVD/RAM etc. in there, along with a new Graphics card.

Generally the motherboard manufacturer's website will provide that information.
