All orders placed on (11/11/04) through release day (21/11/04) will be filled during release week. All previous orders will be shipped on release day.
So it only applies if you've ordered in the last 48 hours and from now on.

According to IPM those people who ordered the machine months in advance up until they reach the limit of their first shipment of DS' will be sent on the release date, but those people who ordered recently will just have to wait a little longer due to more stock shipments being needed to fill their preorder quota. This should be from the first week after release until they have finally finished the list of preorders which could be a few weeks max.

I've decided not to import, I want a UK one and i'm sure something will come out that wont be compatible for the US DS's in the UK.
Nintendo must know alot of people are gonna import so I think they're gonna do something to make you ALL cry.
