Yes it is. FTM is still the best album this year though.

I haven't heard any of their songs. What bands do they sound like?

Yep, it's brilliant. At least as good as In Remote Part, and certainly better than 100 Broken Windows.

They don't really sound like anyone, thy aren't the sort of band you could say like "oh imagine jimi hendrix crossed with the libertines blah blah blah"
They have a very raw, unique, highly emotional sound

Are they indie/rock/heavy etc?

The current crop of new crap bores me.

If I had bought them I'd probably go for:

Good Charlotte - whatever it's called
Jimmy Eat World - Work
Something else

There's too much empty-headed toss so far this year and it's not even fun to listen to.
