What GCSE grades did you get when you were at school? Haven't done mine yet but I want to know how well you did.

erm he said one thing and it probably took him about 15 seconds to type it. That isn't much of a "whole time". Besides, how exactly does what you do outside of school affect how good the education you get within it is? I'm typing this to you, but I very much doubt it's going to have any effect on how well I get taught in class by my teachers.

Indeed.
But the people who think that are either very clever and are going to rule everything anyway, or very stupid and probably going to flunk whatever they do.

I never said they're worthless - because if you want to get any higher qualifications at all, you're going to need some good grades. But they are taken far too seriously, and nothing to really brag about if you did well.

Well you don't show it much, someone who spends his whole time annoying people on forums is hardly gonna have much of an education.

I will when you stop copying evryone else and taking the p*ss when it really isn't needed.

What people mean is don't stress over them. If you fail your GCSEs, or don't manage to do well, then you're a complete thickboy.

The thing is though, it does. Dunno why people are saying it doesn't matter, you're hardly gonna get a degree if you fail all of your GCSEs.

That's true, but it still doesn't mean that GCSEs are 'worthless'.
People may think "GCSEs don't mean anything I'll put no effort in and it won't matter because I'll do my A-Levels properly and that will make up for it".
