What GCSE grades did you get when you were at school? Haven't done mine yet but I want to know how well you did.

Well, whatever you do - don't do ICT at A-Level. It was rubbish.

"By way of illustration, a pupil who has gained a GNVQ Intermediate qualification with distinction will be deemed to have the equivalent points to a GCSE candidate gaining two GCSEs graded A* and A."

One Intermediate GNVQ = 2 GCSEs.

And don't say you did a higher level, because:

"GNVQ currently exists at foundation and intermediate levels"

It is 4.

We were told it's the equivalent of 4.

I'm fairly sure a GNVQ is only worth two, at least that's what it is where I come from.

ps. I don't think you get "quadruple award" GCSEs.

It's not really a measure of intelligence though - generally the correlation is those who prepare more do better.
