Right, I'm starting this thread because, as far as I know, nobody has started a thread about this gig yet, and it deserves one.

On May 2nd at London's Alexandra Palace, a gig whose line-up goes thus far...

Funeral For A Friend
Coheed and Cambria
Finch
Rise Against
Alexisonfire
Lucky Nine
Fightstar
Plus further acts to be confirmed! (fairly sure Emanuel are one of these)

...will occur. It starts about 2pm (check with Emitime, he knows all the details) and being an 'all-dayer' means it should be until late evening, giving us about 9-10 hours of carnage. Nice.

Any info you want or links to tickets (which are £25, not bad for 9 hours?) then this is probably the best place to go...

Anyone likely to join us?

EDIT: A few sites are out of tickets for the gig, but I'm sure you can pick 'em up somewhere (ebay perhaps, if desperate, which you may well be with a line-up like this)

The time I saw Funeral for a Friend support Iron Maiden goes down as one of the funniest 45 minutes of my life.

Yeah I was thinking of going then saw an advert in a magazine saying 'Sold Out'. I wasn't sure about going as there may be no way for me to get home if it finishes really late.

Well, I'd imagine they'd update the official website if it was, no?

But I will check all the same.

EDIT: Ah, you make a good point. It could be a long search people.

In London as well, lovely :) Fairly sure I can persuade some people to get into gear and come with me, doubt I'll manage to get my girlfriend to join us though.

The line-up is truly special. I never thought I'd see a gig like this in the UK.

Due to the line-up I might just have to. Will give one or two of my mates a shout and see if they're interesting :)
