On May 2nd at London's Alexandra Palace, a gig whose line-up goes thus far...
Funeral For A Friend
Coheed and Cambria
Finch
Rise Against
Alexisonfire
Lucky Nine
Fightstar
Plus further acts to be confirmed! (fairly sure Emanuel are one of these)
...will occur. It starts about 2pm (check with Emitime, he knows all the details) and being an 'all-dayer' means it should be until late evening, giving us about 9-10 hours of carnage. Nice.
Any info you want or links to tickets (which are £25, not bad for 9 hours?) then this is probably the best place to go...

Anyone likely to join us?
EDIT: A few sites are out of tickets for the gig, but I'm sure you can pick 'em up somewhere (ebay perhaps, if desperate, which you may well be with a line-up like this)

So hate the lead guitarist and lead vocalist, but the drummer drums a good ratta-tat-tat?
You just want to see him pretend to be cool by namechecking Mr Fight Club writer.
No one else on there that I care about.
Might go to Deconstruction this year. They have Strike Anywhere. And BoySetsFire I think... And Capdown! :D
sounds pretty good for the most part.

Idlewild on April 23rd, for me. Then Futureheads on May 9th. Then Leeds festival whenever.
The fact that Funeral for a friend are headlining anything wsorries me. The fact that people want to go to something headlined by FFAF worries me more.
Fair enough, if there are other decent bands on, but I think there should be a walk-out before FFAF go on stage.
33 days, 3 hours, 42 minutes and 21 seconds to go... EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
