On May 2nd at London's Alexandra Palace, a gig whose line-up goes thus far...
Funeral For A Friend
Coheed and Cambria
Finch
Rise Against
Alexisonfire
Lucky Nine
Fightstar
Plus further acts to be confirmed! (fairly sure Emanuel are one of these)
...will occur. It starts about 2pm (check with Emitime, he knows all the details) and being an 'all-dayer' means it should be until late evening, giving us about 9-10 hours of carnage. Nice.
Any info you want or links to tickets (which are £25, not bad for 9 hours?) then this is probably the best place to go...

Anyone likely to join us?
EDIT: A few sites are out of tickets for the gig, but I'm sure you can pick 'em up somewhere (ebay perhaps, if desperate, which you may well be with a line-up like this)

And me about a month before you :P
And Fightstar won't last, stop worrying about them.
I was refering to the name of the song being deep, not the band as a unit.
They'll either do well because of the previous sucess and fame of Charlie, bringing a lot of punk-pop kids into the world of Emo (which seems to be the case anyway), or the emo fans will dislike them, then cry and write poetry about it.
Either way they aren't a band I'd like to persist interest with. I was going to go and see them when they played at Leeds University when Hollywood Ending were going to support them, then I changed my mind, because they think that because they've had a video played on Kerrang they're the biggest band in the world ever and can have an 'arena' gig.

Surely Palahnuik has a deeper meaning that the author?
Otherwise they may as well have called it "Edit Blyton's giggle" or "Roald Dahls chortle"
Stupid surface-deep bands.
I made a thread about this a month ago
Thought it was sold out, seems from the link I'm wrong.
I heard Brand New were playing, glad they're not announced because I'm off to Deconstruction festival (http://www.deconstruction.de) on the same day now.
Seeing Futureheads 15th May and may see Rise Against Vs Alexisonfire a few nights before.
