"Guns N Roses- the best rock band ever"

Thats what i think, they are absolutly brilliant. Come on, listening to "welcome to the jungle" while doing something terribly exciting is one of the best feelings ever. The guitar solos are great by Slash and the singing by Axel is amazing. The songs they produced were heard and loved all over the world.

It doesnt matter that they've split up and that Slash has put a restraining order on Axel, they will be remembered forever by their music, their talent and their sheer love for music..........they truely created an Appetite,...... for Destruction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

slash failed the audition for Poison for being too ugly. bet they feel daft :)

Yep if the amount of times they've supposedly been 'in the studio' was actually correct Geffen could release 5 differently mastered versions of the same album over the coming years. :D

Are any of you Velvet Revolver fans? They arent as good as GnR IMO but i still like some of their riffs. I saw them at Manchester and I didnt like the covers they did of GnR songs. But other tha that they're good.

Whats your fave Guns album and song too?

Mine is Appetite for Destruction and either Mr Brownstone or Anything Goes, but i really like Novemer Rain too. and ive just though of Rocket Queen aswell. Is so hard to pick a fave.

I prefer them because I don't have to put up with hearing Axl Rose.

Well I like Axl Rose so hearing Guns songs sung by someone else was just wierd. I think appetite for destruction is a better album than Contraband too. Im still a big VR fan tho and hope they bring a new album out soon.

You are wrong on most things.
It's actually Bill Bailey. And Bailey was his stepfathers name, which Axl changed to Rose, and then the Bill to Axl.
You're right about Tracii.
Wrong. They have split. Slash left in 94 if I remember correctly. Only Axl is left, and Chinese Democracy has been due out for ages.

my favourite album is probably Use your illusion 2 i think.
i like the "bigger" songs towards the end of the album (locomotive, estranged, etc)... however, let us not speak of "my world" :S
