Thats what i think, they are absolutly brilliant. Come on, listening to "welcome to the jungle" while doing something terribly exciting is one of the best feelings ever. The guitar solos are great by Slash and the singing by Axel is amazing. The songs they produced were heard and loved all over the world.
It doesnt matter that they've split up and that Slash has put a restraining order on Axel, they will be remembered forever by their music, their talent and their sheer love for music..........they truely created an Appetite,...... for Destruction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

even in the beginning when everyone else in the band was doing the glam thing, slash never really did the make-up thing.
i read that he didn't get the job for "not being pretty enough" though.

I watched a few gun n roses programs on VH2 were quite amusing :D Well gun n roses are my favourite band, slash bloomin rocks especially his part in sweet child o mine where he goes insanely fast -_-.

I watched a few gun n roses programs on VH2 were quite amusing :D Well gun n roses are my favourite band, slash bloomin rocks especially his part in sweet child o mine where he goes insanely fast -_-.

Ok. So I spelt Bailey wrong. And they have and havent "split". It depends how you look at it. Slash Duff and Matt are now all in Velvet Revolver, so all of the members have split appart, but Axl is still going with the GnR's name. He's recently fired Bucket Head and got a new guitarist (I cant remember the name off hand). But chances are, Chinese Democracy will never come out so GnR are pretty much dead and gone.

i like the "bigger" songs towards the end of the album (locomotive, estranged, etc)... however, let us not speak of "my world" :S

Well I like Axl Rose so hearing Guns songs sung by someone else was just wierd. I think appetite for destruction is a better album than Contraband too. Im still a big VR fan tho and hope they bring a new album out soon.
