Can't believe it's less than a month away, I for one will be watching.

It'll be interesting to see how Barney performs in his first PDC World Championships with his last match in the BDO World Final being a defeat to Klassen two years ago.

Baxter is out at the 1st round stage again. 2 years in a row now. It does make the bottom half of the draw a little more inviting.

Part was pretty close to going out there. Managed to squeak through in extra legs in the 5th set.

No problems for Taylor or Manley. Part V Mason should be a good game in the 2nd round.

Thought Part was in trouble there but he managed to squeeze through.

Taylor had a walk in the park after his oppponent only managed about a 78 average, really wanted him to win at least 1 leg and I thought he was going to do it but he missed 3 double 4's for the last leg and Taylor stepped in for the win.

It's a shame about Bob Anderson having shoulder problems due to a slipped disc a little while back. I think that's what they said anyway.

He produced only glimpses of classic Bob but Webster was pretty punishing.

Bates and Walsh going out are a bit of a surprise to me especially Bates who has seen some good form this year.

Shame about Anderson I always like it when the oldies play like they used to.

Warriner got pretty crushed. He isn't as good as he was though. Lloyd and Barneveld meeting in the 2nd round will be some game. Lewis looked in decent form as well.

Barney looked a bit wobbly in the first few legs but came through OK, Warriner is not nearly as good as he used to be.

Lloyd vs Barney will be the match of the 2nd round, think Barney will edge it.
