Well then ... as I said ... absolutely nothing is stopping you.
If you want to kick the cat, you kick the cat.

You'll weigh up the gains and losses before sticking the boot in -

On the plus side, you want to, it'll look amazing, you've always wanted to, and you just can

On the minus side is your conscience.

Depending on which weighs the heaviest results in action.

I think the main question here is how your conscience in this situation is constructed. If you had never been told otherwise ... you'd probably kick the cat. If society hadn't pressed certain ethics onto you ... you'd probably kick the cat.

I'd suggest that your conscience isn't actually what most people think - it is, in fact, the representation of society within you. There's nothing personal about it - hence why Catholic people will have more on their consciences, because society has told them many more things are unnacceptable and must be repented against.

As such, you are free to ignore it - as long as the battle with society itself (an internal battle, if there are no witnesses, but the same battle nonetheless) can be ignored, over-ruled or destroyed.

What would the probability that the cat would be dead? Is it right to kick a dead cat anyway?

I'm sure the subtelty is lost on you, but this is in the PHILOSOPHY section.
hence it is a PHILOSOPHICAL question.
I don't think I've seen a single intelligent reply from you.

And to answer your question, shut up.
