Back in the good old days we had Nash, Azul, Memo, gerrid, aoe_slaught, Tribute, FFF and all the gang to keep the fools down and the scum out. Now they (the good regulars) are outnumbered by the idiots that infest this place.
Came to this conclusion after seeing the aforementioned users had many votes against them in that "Forum Enemy" thread.
Against this harsher climate with strict irritating staff and retarded people the sensible and decent users of old are dying out.
'Tis a pity.

Off topic here, but anyone ever seen any of those stickmen fighting Xiao Xiao animations? They are a mixture of 2D and 3D and are quite excellent. Done by some Chinese chap called Zhu Zhq or similar.
This site hosts some:

I enjoy those topics actually, I never post in them but I download the movies and all. I used to do 3D animation myself, stopped doing it because I started becoming a bit too complicated and it took forever to do :)

I've got a video I did ages ago, the modelling is awful but I just had so much fun making it. Remind me in one of your topics :P

My 3d animation thread and infact all my 3d threads have died horrible deaths popularity wise, but they keep me and Very_Metal entertained when one of us has created something new or if we have learnt something that the other might be interested in.

i think i should probably post more in 3d forums but then alot of them are so far ahead of me skill wise i feel silly talking about the stuff i am doing.

An remove post button would be useless for half of us because we probably wouldn't be bothered to click on every bad post the get them deleted anyways.

I've been on a lot of forums, and apart from one this is the friendliest.

Yup, the place is full of idiots begging for attention, when the best way for them to get it is by actually trying do something good.

"Maybe being able to remove peoples posts in our own topics would help."

That's another discussion entirely, but an interesting idea. I personally hate censorship.. maybe a "move post" button would be more to my liking, to take the posts and put them in a 'dump' forum or something. Nice and embarrassing, I think that'd be much better than simply deleting them.
