Also include the genre. I hate to sound close minded, but the thrash metal track you lick windows to may not be to everyones taste. Maybe a comment.
I'm just blatantly trying to usurp Grix's long running thread. :D
*Fires up Limewire in anticipation*
I'll get us started :
'Five' by Lamb - Ambient Breakbeat/Trip Hop Instrumental
(AKA Ray Mears theme tune - Beautiful relaxing track)
Try:
Tears In Heaven
Layla (acoustic, obviously)
Beautiful Tonight
They're his biggest three.

Oh dear just as well you put probably in there, i'm a big fan of Nick Drake, Don McLean, Tim Buckley, Bob Dylan and Simon and Garfunkle, i like folky acoustic anything else doesn't really bother me and i've never heard anything by Clapton that i thought was remotely special. If you want to recommend one of his go ahead but i'll be basing my entire opinion of him on it so it better be a good one.

I've listened to it twice, it's an abomination, like something off one of those crappy american family sitcoms or those awful English soft-core porn film of the early 70's.
Utterly disgraceful

Dad died of a drug overdose, Jeff was bitter about his dad abandoning him and thats most evident in the lyrics to Dream Brother. I've got a feeling Tim did a song called Dream something along the same lines.
Tim is different, the vocal power is of a different type and Tim was very Folky but he was way ahead of what anyone else was even thinking about.
Pretty unfortunate they both died young. His album seems to foreshadow his death a fair bit, though.
