I notice there has been a lot of talk about banned user etc on these forums lately and a lot of the problem has to do with swearing (I think) anyway I do understand that swearing is not really needed to express yourself and think its right and proper that its kept in check.

My kids do not here me swear in our home life so why should they be able read it on the forum? I do swear at work though but only in adult company and not in front of customers.

Do others feel the same way or should swearing be accepted as the norm on a forum?

quick lesson (no rulers)

to is a prepostion and can be used for a purpose or a place.
e.g i went to fish or i went to bed

too means also
e.g ST went to bed too.

there refers to a place.
e.g look over there.

thier refers to things that belong to them
e.g someone closed their thread.

they're means they are.
e.g. they're pretending to be lovers for comedy purposes and boredom prevention.

Thats a valid point, but it shoots you in the foot as the ones being warned are usually (but not always ) using these words to offend, a well placed swear word in the right context does not offend, its when they are directed at a person that they become offensive? well thats how a see it a think? :-)

Thats my other point their just words !

If people want to be offended by it then so be it!
