My kids do not here me swear in our home life so why should they be able read it on the forum? I do swear at work though but only in adult company and not in front of customers.
Do others feel the same way or should swearing be accepted as the norm on a forum?

The stars are a good idea even though we shouldn't be doing it in the first place.
Might be some super sensitive people out there who come across this site looking for games and see all this swearing. It'd make the company look mighty unprofessional. Which is why an adult forum on here would be a good idea, too. Or a locked one which you can't access unless you're a 'mature' regular or something. God knows how that'd work out! :)

Well I cant do the spelling or the punctuation things didnt listen when I was at school, hasnt stopped me in my career though.
If you're not fussed about spelling, that's fine in my opinion. I think general communication of ideas and thoughts is far more important than spelling simple words right. You can still make intelligent and thoughtful remarks without using correct grammar or spelling. It's a shame it's usually attacked, no matter how intelligent it is.
However.
Weird, is NOT spelt wierd. That's the only hatred I have.

well this is an SR forum. But the funny thing is that this post was edited and it still has an error in. I only pick up on grammar or spelling that is wrong in posts when the poster had complained about someone else's posts.
