The number of people coming to Britain to work from the EU accession countries between May and September stands at 90,000 – at least seven times Home Office estimates, where did they get there first estimate from.
You say the Beverly hughes case happened ages ago so I shouldn't mention it, why not? After all it happened less than a year ago. And have you actually read the report of the inquiry? This is what they found...
The NAO found great inconsistency in the quality and extent of visa checks: ‘The use of forged documents is endemic in some of the countries covered by the visa regime… In some of the posts that we visited this has led to considerable success in identifying fake documents and, in Accra, it was considered to be a contributory factor in the high refusal rate. But resource constraints, and the requirement to meet processing targets, limit posts’ efforts on such work and there was wide variation between posts in the attention given to forgery issues’.

The fact you get immigration officers who were too busy to stop 5 illegals found in the back of a lorry. The fact that to cater for theese immigrants we need about 1.5 million new houses over the next 20 years to cover for the estimated 6m extra people (5.1 immigrants). No matter if it sounds like ukip or whatever, thats still I think 10 new sheffields.
Most immigrants stay in the south east, ok then, have you seen how full our trains are, the cars on the roads and the shortage of houses? Most of theese immigrants are going to head down south, but the south is already one of the most densly populated places in Europe, so where do you put theese new houses, trains, wider roads, hospitals, schools and anything else i've failed to mention? Its not exactly good for the enviroment if we start using more of our green land is it. What I want to know is how much land are we going to use before we decide were full? And more imoprtant to the point, what effect that will bring on our small little Island.
