My time of 1m 46.155s puts me in 30th place nationally, and first in the SR challenge team - but thats only because me (Rob) and Nomad (Golden) are the only ones to have entered our times in the team.

Like how can we compete. Im sure with practice I can do a 1.47ish but come on. This is insane, I thought I was good at driving games but??

Use the racing line. Just try to work at it bit by bit. Dont forget that even if you 1 or 2 mph slower coming out of a corner on to a straight you can lose a little time. You will get there. Iam aswell very slow round the course at the moment.

How on Earth have people managed to get 1 minute 43 seconds on the PS2 version of F1 2001 at Spa?? I have done what I believed to be a pretty much perfect lap that I could probably improve by only a couple of tenths and that time is 1 minute 48.1 seconds. This time is with me cutting the corners at the chicane after the first long straight, and cutting the bus stop chicane at the end of the lap!! But still 5 whole seconds SLOWER than the quickest that has been posted. I tryed to post this time in the SR Challenge team but it said that my encrypted code was invalid.

So how do you get a quick time on the Spa Challenge in Time Attack!!!????

Finally got to play the game last night and this morning, although I've had to leave it cos been called out to work :(

I was gonna put my time on here but after a quick check back to see what times were on here, well, lets just say I need more practise :)

Brilliant graphics and great game....must go play!!!

The funny thing i've found about driving games is that when you think you cant go any quicker, you then go and knock about 5 seconds off your time.

It happened to me when i was playing M:SR, i could have sworn i had perfected the lap, couldnt go any faster, and then i changed line around a couple of corners, and my time was much quicker!

I'm sure i'd beat all of your times, but i dont have a PS2. If anyone has GP3 for the PC, we'll compare times for that if you want.

Which even with the odd excusion off track I can not.

Spa is my favorite circuit, in one game or another I've been driving around it for years.

After watching a demo of F1 2001 in Game today, I'm looking forward to this weekend. Hope i can stop playing to watch the Monaco processional race on Sunday
