Views as in camera views like T-cam or external? If so then I always use the on-board T-cam. The external view gives the impression that you are going very slow but has no real affect on speed. But I havent actually used this view properly.

With the Speedster 2 you can get a good start as per previous post, Just sit at 14K and then floor it when the lights change. Or you can sit with it in Neutral and then as soon as you get above 14.3 ish it changes gear and your away.

The only way to get a reasonably good start in automatic gears is by using the analog sticks (if you're using the controller). Rev the engine to roughly 12000-13000rpm.

Then push the accelerater up to half (if on semi-pro or pro) or full for any other difficulty.

Alternatively, you could just turn the rules and flags off which disables the jump start.

How can you get a really good start with automatic gears. You cant rev the engine up. You do and it goes and you get black flagged. Manual gears is easy to start but i have not started well in auto. If you wait till the lights everyone gets ahead if you start at the back or grid 2 gets past if your on pole. I've tried to use the clutch button but it doesnt seem to do much. Can some one help please.

Jive because the setup has been removed from the time attack challenge it is not possible to alter the suspention settings or ride height. The reason you slow down is because the car is too low and is "bottoming out" and hitting the ground. In normal racing (other than Time Attack) this problem is reduced by raising the car and changing the suspention.
This also happens at Brazil.

By the way I have just done a time of 1:43:926! with M Schumacher.

Crickey!

I thought my time of 1.49.766 with Michael Schumacher was good, I think the 1.43 times are mad!

Gonna have to practise alot harder.

Does anyone know how to stop the slowdown when you get to the bottom of the hill after the start, I go from 160mph down to 130mph and then speed up as I go up the hill!

What's all that about?

Hope that clears it up for you.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Excellent support service!
I have always found the support staff to provide an excellent service on every occasion I've called.
