Nobby, I am getting rather %$%#£@off with this game now. No matter what I try I seem to always be in the 1:49's or 1:50's exectly how did you get your time as Im not acustomed to being beaten. Im cutting the corners in the two most obvious places(Bus stop and chicane after first timing beam). Have you found somewhere else where you can fly round a corner and just bounce off the wall and makeup a lot of time or are you really so much better than me.
Also what are your split times if you dont mind me asking, as I would like to know where Im loosing so much time? My first sector is around 32-33 and then the second is in the 1:20 region.
The first sector is flat out apart from the hairpin at the begining so I assume you make all your time up in the middle as from the last sector it flat out all the way to the end.

How do you use the analogue sticks? They turn the car.
When you rev the engine the car goes out of neutral and into gear. You have to try to floor it after the lights go out. I'll try your method to see if I can get it to work.
I do agree with the impression of being slow though in the external view.
