Is what I had last night. I normally take little notice of dreams, except when they involve me being rich and sleeping with my own personal Angelina Jolie, at which point I genuinely want to murder my alarm clock.

Still, 3 separate nightmares in a night, all of which woke me up with a jolt, that's a record for me I think.

What were they about? Too damn weird to explain, and even if I did they wouldn't have the same effect on you, nor would they make any sense.

Note to self : No more nightcaps of whisky and coke.

Lucid dreaming is the way forward I believe ...

Good Night.

I get loosing teeth quite often, also going blind. Neither of them nice. Aparantly the teeth is anxiety which is ok cus i normally get them around exam times but the blindness can make me cry cus i wear glasses and i would just hate it if i were to be blind and dreams do seem so real.

I had a dream where someone took my left eye, Kill Bill style. I spent a long long time asking and pleading with the person to either a) give me my eye back, or b) offer a good enough explanation as to why they took it.

Neither was forthcoming and the last thing I remember was a terrible rage focused acutely through a common garden rake.

I noticed this.
When I got a hi-fi that could wake me up in the morning, the music sometimes made it into my dreams. One example was how member of the office TV series were singing Stone Roses...

Also, it means that you can still absorb lectures in your sleep.
For example, in a philosophy lecture, I fell asleep but I was still getting the lecture, only I dreamed that a friend of mine was saying it.
Philosophy being philosophy, I was this close to arguing and giving my own opinion when I snapped up and suddenly realised where I was! :-D

Sleep deprivation will kill you faster than hunger, so why do we sleep? And why sometimes do we dream what purpose do it have? Scientists belive that in the non dream state of sleep, the brain is cleaning out the waste of the day, like the free radicals built up by the digestion of food and of gernal metabolism, that if left in the body can be very harmful. Dreaming is supposably the time when the brain is testing out what it has just done. You have no conscious control over your body movement which means that the brain can stimuulate everyday life, which is why dreams feel so real, also why you feel pain, pain is simply the brain translating impulses from the environment. This dream period (or REM rapid eye movement) is nearly awlays at the end of the time you are alseep, which accounts for the sudden waking up from a dream. If you have pets you can sometimes see that their bodies twitch while asleep and if you move them or poke them in this state tehy cannot respond, i thikn this shows that animals also dream, i wonder what you would dream about if you were an animal...

That's like when you're in a really nice dream, and you wake up.

Grrr.

My dreams seem to be crossing with hallucinations since I got my univeristy room.

My room is smallish, with my bed running parallel with the wardrobe, and me being me it often gets left open. So once or twice I dream/hallucinate that people are walking through it. It was kind of weird, but it never seems so at the time, it's just happening.

So I shrugged and waved at them.
A girl I was liking at the time smiled and waved, and I stretched out my hand to try and invite her into my bed, and even started to get out of bed. Then my eyes focused on my coat...

Hmph! :-D

I once was shot in a dream. A chav emptied an entire clip on me from a silenced pistol, then I chased him up a hill. I think I had been playing a lot of first person shooters that day.
