Friends had the most continuity errors I've ever seen in anything. In one shot a character would have their arms folded, in the next they would be in a different position, then in the next shot they would be folded again. I've spotted countless errors like this.

I liked Joey - only thing that can ruin it now is a visit from Janice. They should've killed her off a very long time ago - say series four.

do you remember the 'blue blazer black' joke in Friends?

Do you think Chandler messed that line up while they were doing it and they decided to work it into the proper show?

In the beginning, it was virtually faultless.

In the final series, it was actually quite poor.

Well, I don't think there's any problem with the writing - not judging by the first two episodes, at least. The substance in this respect was impressive, and surpassed that of the final series of Friends.

But the direction and acting is just far too weak for this to be anything special. However, this is only the beginning, so there's certainly room for improvement in these respects as the actors settle into their roles and a distinctive style for the show emerges. It exceeded my expectations, which is always nice.

Shaky on the start, but promising.

I'll catch the double bill at 11 tonight. This wont last long though, the writers will run out of ideas.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Friends immensely, but the writing is hardly sharp.
