The next 2 months will see the release of;

- The new Mars Volta album. ~drool~

- The new Queens of the Stone Age albun. ~drooooool~

Like I said 'emotion' was perhaps the wrong word to use.

I know what Dredg were doing on El Cielo. I just think it's not as good as the MV's stuff. He might not write in 'nursery rhyme', as you write off half a million decent songs in one go, but that does not mean their stuff is especially. inventive.

"As flys have walls for feet"

I've often thought that myself, but could never have phrased it so elegantly.

No way. I suppose they do a very emotional rendition of this man's plight then?

"I'm in a coma, but beneath the glassy expression it actually hurts quite a lot"

And Gavin's lyrics aren't bad at all - they're just different from the simple little nursery rhyme formula everyone else sticks to. Lyrics aren't greeatly important anyway, and in this case the different style is deliberate because of the concept - it's meant to be like the snippets of monologue you might here whilst dreaming.

Opinion. Ach, I like Dredg for the most part.

But MV are light years ahead of them.
