Oh, I dunno, I've lost of the amount of times I've been in the mood for 2 minutes of music followed by 28 minuntes of nothingness followed by another 2 minutes of music.
I love Cassandra Gemini.
I like De-Loused better than Frances the Mute.
The 32 minute song is a little hard to take if you aren't in the mood.

They are pretentious, it is ego music, it can be annoying with all the gaps, but for some reason it works. Plus I loved ATDI so that helps, although this is hugely different.
I got (acquired) Cromatorium Cicatriz thing (their first album) and I liked it...but I disliked it.
Argh, ffs. And then I got Frances the Mute, and I liked it but disliked it.
I mean... I recognise their huge talent. And I like their songs. But there's something about them that I dislike.
One thing, however, that does put me off is their constant urge to put hours of utter nothingness in their songs. And the singer puts me off a little... even though I like his voice.
It's all one big contradiction.
