Yes, that's probably true, but that doesn't make it the better game - on the contrary, it makes it the worse game. By far. Football is as deep or as shallow as you want it to be. If you want a quick kickabout, all you neded is a ball. You don't need sticks, padding, nets - you can just pick up a ball and go with any amount of players.

And look at Ronaldinho if you want an example of ABSOLUTE SKILL with a football. Being able to land a 40 yard pass to perfectly suit the run of another player over the heads of most of the opposition probably taes a bit more skill that being able to whack a ball with a stick.

There is more skill in hockey then there is in football, have you ever watched a proper game of hockey?
The amount of speed, skill, and brains needed to be good at hockey, is alot more then football.
