"GT3 and Steering Wheels"

I was going to get the official Sony PS2 Fanatec steering wheel the other day but thought I'd hang on till GT3 was released, then read somewhere that GT3 will only be fully compatible with another steering wheel!

Does anyone

a) know if this is true
b) everyone's happy playing with their controllers

or

c) I'm just the last person to get a steering wheel :-)

I think you can just use a PC wheel if its got a USB connecter on it. The GT3 wheel should be compatiable with other games aswell.

If it is just for GT3 then I probably won't buy it as it would be a waste of money to get a wheel just for one game.

dont think it will i think its designed to be used just for GT3

i think the gt3 wheel will work with other games

does anyone know anything about the gt3 steering wheel - like if it will work with all the new driving games soon to be released on the ps2?
