Filmfour hasn't gone bust, has it? Oh, and Resident Evil actually did pretty well at the cinemas, I believe, despite the fact that we had it in our cinemas 4 months after it was out on DVD in America. Damn them for then making us wait 8 months for the DVD release, in the following April.
And Ortega - Film Four provided some of the budget or something, I think.

They made demands to have the flim show in the largest screens (to take as much money as possible from each showing - more seats filled = more cash) and tried to act like the american film industry. The main cinemas told them to get lost, it didn't make the film look good and I believe it bombed taking out Channel Four Films with it because they'd invested so much into it.

Yes, with Jill I actually prefered 2 to 1 but the fact that 1 was nothing like the Mansion incident made we want to kill.

Resident Evil was horrible, im sure there are better game to film conversions somewhere out there in the vast abyss of feature length stuff.
