I have joined a gym but I don't want no instructer in my way. I'll just stick to cycling, running and rowing for about 2 weeks.
Then I'll think about it more.
Thats me off actually. bye bye
Don’t just bang out sit-up after sit-up, they’re crappy.
I did 4 sets of 10 crunches
4 sets of reverse crunches on an incline bench
4 sets of side twists…..do this about 2/3 times a week.
There are other things. Hanging leg raises, lying leg thrusts and so on. Your best bet is to join a gym and tell the instructor what you want out of your program then get them to design one for you.

Did they eat it?

Well... it was going well until I had to do overtime, essays, Christmas and then exams.
Now I'm back on form. How do I get a six pack then, what machines?

Really? What have you done besides post on here about it?
> I don;t think I am to blame, my parents were fat before they died, it could be a genetic problem.
Oh yes, it's never the overweight persons fault, is it? Well actually to be fair are not all weight problems genetic ones? It is our genes that makes us want to eat greasy crap and sit down being amused by that little colourful box rather then go out running.
As for the having a fitness thing and not losing any weight....how long did you do it for? A week? Two weeks? You can't expect instant results. Losing weight takes a long time and a lot of will power.
When I was 15 I weighed about the same amount in stone. I ate crap and didn't do anything physical besides what the usual teenage boy does. I finally had enough and joined a gym aged 16. By the age of 18 I weighed about 10 and a half stone and without wanting to sound big-headed, I was in great shape.
Since then I've worked out a little more, (despite having had a 3 month break now), and I find I enjoy it.
A few things I wanted to say with this post that I will post now in a blunt way thus making the other paragraphs redundant...
1) Stop feeling sorry for yourself.
2) Stop blaming it on genes, unless you only eat really healthy stuff and gain weight anyway, which I've never heard of. Just accept it's your fault and do something about it.
3) If you are that overweight and want to lose the weight see your doctor first to make sure you're not putting yourself at risk.
4) Drink lots of water.
5) When you do start, start slow. I started with ajusting my diet and then moved on to doing a little cardio work too before moving up to getting a full hour routine in the gym.
Good luck
