So I got my Radeon 9800 Pro yesterday and when I went to put it into my AGP slot it didn't fit by about 1mm. Then someone told me the card looked like it was meant for a PCI slot so I tried it in that but it still didn't work. I drew this amazing picture (on paint :P) so you can get a better idea of what's happening:

Btw that's not my motherboard I just got a pic off the net.
So is there anyway to fix this? Or do I have to send the card back?
Thanks, Lipe.
Since you have integrated intel graphics, and that it's a compaq, the board probably is an intel.
Funnily enough someone else had a problem of not being able to fit a radeon.
Heres the article: http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,1558,1727918,00.asp
(EDIT: Actually after reading the article it probably won't help, just confirms that large graphics cards probably won't fit.)
Lies! Surely!
I hope that helps, if you need the link let me know.

Nope it's set out like this:
Compaq
Presario

It's an in-built graphics card. This PC is practically brand new as I got it in November so I'd think that it should support 8x AGP cards, or I hope it does.
Should be something like 8980SE.
And do you know what graphics card you had installed before the 9800?
I'm thinking it's something to do with a dated AGP slot that can't take 8X AGP cards.
