So I got my Radeon 9800 Pro yesterday and when I went to put it into my AGP slot it didn't fit by about 1mm. Then someone told me the card looked like it was meant for a PCI slot so I tried it in that but it still didn't work. I drew this amazing picture (on paint :P) so you can get a better idea of what's happening:

Btw that's not my motherboard I just got a pic off the net.
So is there anyway to fix this? Or do I have to send the card back?
Thanks, Lipe.
But I could be wrong.

After actually looking at the slot, your right.
Haha, you've spotted something we've all missed.
In that case you want to send back that card and save up for one of the superior PCI-E cards that are soon to replace AGP.

Yes you're right.
Lipe, check if you really have an SR1239, the specs are here:

Theres no AGP slot, its PCI-Express only.

Erm, I don't think that's an AGP slot.
If your motherboard has a pci-express slot you could probably pick up a fairly decent card. And I think there are going to be some pretty powerful Pci-E cards arriving soon. (I think PCI-Express is faster than 8X AGP)
As for a smaller AGP card, you'll have to talk to someone else who knows more, as I'm not sure if a smaller card would neccessarily help with that oddly placed AGP slot.
Or you could always upgrade your motherboard, and get the 9800 pro running.
