Virgin Radio has been running a poll for the 500 greatest songs of all time and the results were out earlier today.

I guessed the munber one spot from the beggining even though I dont think it is the best song ever. There were a few shocks in the Top 10. I though Queen would be higher and I really didnt expect Robbie Williams to be there.


So what do you think of the results?

Read the first hundred, they weren't too scandalous, though why Natalie Imbruglias 'Torn' is in there I don't know.

Also, Oasis' Live Forever should have been much higher.

Sweet Child O' Mine at 3?!?!

That isn't even Guns n' Roses' best song.

Also, the best song ever is Paranoid Android.

I never tend to think a bands most popular song is their best. i.e. Sweet child o mine, Bohemian Rhapsody, Under the bridge, stairway to heaven. Songs like that which are all really good are just not my favourite by the artists in question.

Agree with the number one though....
