What hard rock bands would you recommend? Trying to find some that I can buy on CD.

Sometimes it feels like I'm the only person who doesn't like Killswitch Engage.

One of my friends hasnt even heard of them, or heard any of their songs, yet he's still coming to the gig with us!! Fool.

Maybe i misinturpuretted that post,. but are you saying stone-sour is melodic rock? MELODIC? On songs like Bother i'd agree 110%, but stuff like Get Inside??? Its slipknot without the DJ!!!

I never thought Stone Sour were as good as Slipknot.

never heard of either of them mate, which means i'll get to see even MORE bands i've not seen before.. which can only be a good thing, at least i'll get to pass judgement first hand :)

this reminds me, i have to pummel my mate so he gets in gear and buys our tickets!

what i heard of Stone Sour was fairly boring.
not "Staind" boring.. but still pretty tedious.

They sound too much like Slipknot, but without the stupid heaviness which is the only reason why I think Slipknot are ok.

Rival Schools.

Not especially hard.

But they're better than any band already mentioned.
