"Hey Yuppie Wife, we hardly communicate anymore due to the pressures of our work and materialistic life. I demonstrate this by using my mobile to phone you even though you're in the house and I'm in the car"
"Hey Yuppie Husband, I don't want to sex you even in this exotic resort. Let's go scuba-diving"
"Yes"
"The boat's gone. What do we do now?"
"Let's bicker and float about"
"It's all your fault"
"No it's yours"
"The audience hates us both and wants to see us eaten"
"I've just been bitten Yuppie Wife"
"Just a nibble. Let's go to sleep"
"Ok"
"Oh no, Yuppie Husband has died from his bite. I can no longer face life, despite only being out here for 24hrs. I shall drown myself."

Awful, dull waste of rental.
The box said "substained terror" on the back.
It should've said "Mild disappointment & vague resentment"

Ah, I knew there was a thread about this.

Watched it last night - what a waste of an hour of my life. Nothing actually happened, and what did was boring. I still don't know how they can dramatise an event where nobody knows what happened, and the families let them do it. I switched the commentary on as the credits were rolling, and the writer/director/editor actually said "I really enjoyed myself making this"....glad someone got something out of it!

I'd heard it was absolutely dire.

Glad I didn't listen to the American hype (yes, they were actually hyping it up when I was holiday there in August!).

Yeah I know what you mean. I watched it and after I really wished I had of rented some other film out to watch as not only was it a waste of time it was a waste of money.

Watched Open Water last night.

It's the kind of film you finish feeling robbed of a part of your life.

I haven't seen a movie since Garden State. Don't really want to, I just know it's too good to beat.

I haven’t watched the movie, though I don’t think I need to, I got all the information I needed from the trailer. Two people sitting in the ocean. There, saved me 90 minutes of my life.

If there is one kind of movie that bores me to tears, it’s movies about people being stranded at sea. How dull it is to watch a few people sitting, doing nothing waiting to be rescued. I watch movies because I’m bored, not vice versa.

There was bush at the start, but even that couldn't compensate for 90mins of wet yuppies bickering.

Open Water...what a load of b*llocks. It really is horrible, I can't believe they released a film this crap. They spend three-quarters of the film just floating in water for god's sake, how is anyone going to find that good to watch?

Commando is an amazing film. The wires holding up Sonny before Arnie drops him, the awful one liners, the wooden acting, the using a rocket launcher to stop a police van... it's simply amazing.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
