BBC and Sky are reporting that the Pool have tabled a bid of £3.5 million for Morientes. But Real want £7 mill, which I don't think we have. Unless we accept the Morgan bid. Which we should.

I will be happy if Morientes comes to Anfield. Because, let's face it, he's awesome. And quite Spanish enough.

But the truth has been spoken. Defoe is a well over-rated player, and isn't eveing playing well, however Keane and Kanoute are both playing really well and are under-rated. My opioion anyways.

Keane > Defoe
Kanoute > Defoe
Big Pile of steaming Sh!te > Defoe

Defoe > No-one (apart from any Rangers players, thay are also crap).

So now Kanoute is better than Defoe. Yeh, right, maybe in the air.

But he seems to be in our starting line up now, I think Jol has finally realised Defoe needs to have the ball on the ground, so he sticks Fredi up there for the desperate long balls.

I have seen the number of chances Defoe has created for other people, I've also seen the lack of chances Baros has made.
