Thank you.
> I didn't steal from him though.
You took the money.
You didn't give him the phone.
That's called stealing.

Did he say "oh no! a CCTV camera! I better not go over there!!"
No? Then how do you know?
Maybe he didn't want to go somewhere with your dad because he was being overly pushy and the guy felt threatened?
"my dad and his mates will kick the crap out of him"
If your dad was prepared to do that, I'm guessing he wasn't particularly friendly to the chap when they met...
Your dad was probably hassling the guy too much about the signature, the guy got scared and ran off. Simple as that.
Just because he refused to take the item dosn't give you the right to keep the money.
Stealing is stealing.
Just hope he dosn't find out where you live, I know many folk who wouldn't be happy to loose £300+ this close to christmas and would do some pretty nasty stuff to get it back or seek revenge.
Oh and if he was to seek legal action it's pretty unlikely that you'd win and keep the cash, you'd probably end up paying more..
> No I didn't.
Yes you did (or your Dad did, whatever). He gave you his money, you didn't give him the product he paid for.
Anything else is irrelevant.

It is something only Stridiot would do.
But I dont want to talk about it anymore because none of you actually understand what happened and crilly is being a tw@t.
What you did was theft.
Why don't you give him his money back?
Just because he's not English and because you think he *might* have been trying to scam you does not give you permission to take his money.
The consequences are irrelevant.
You STOLE from him.
