That doesn't mean anything, only he that used a different name on his E-Bay account, which as far as I know isn't against the law. Stealing money however....

I didn't steal from him though.
He paid via Paypal before my dad met him, when my dad met him he refused to sign and wouldn't come right outside his office because there was a CCTV camera there.
Now, why would someone just run off just because he saw a CCTV camera?
This isn't an example of theft. say you refuse to pay because that account is in someone else's name
EDIT: ok, well kinda, but not a simple case of theft.
tell him it's at such a such police station and that he will need ID to get it back. If he's that adverse to being caught on camera or the like you may not hear from him again

He ran away from his money, if he didn't want to go on with the deal then anymore then he could've easily said so but he didn't, he ran away.
