I'm wondering, however, where's the best place to buy one from price wise, escept I don't trust eBay sellers for something as expensive as this.
the Apple website says $299, which I deduced with an online currency converter to be round £165, and if I'm not wrong I can get 10% off any apply produce with my NUS card, which will cut it down to more or less £150.
(Please, correct me here if I am wrong)
So give me some 'pod advice, ideas of prices and retailers, etc.
Thankuu.

Yes, I am but that isn't a bad thing. Maybe I like playing the same games as all of my mates.

You're the kind of person who get's a PS2 because all your mates have one aren't you?
Just look at the reviews of the older ZENs and the older iPods, and how many of each are still working now.
The first generation iPods have all broken, meanwhile my Zen is going fine.
*touches wood*
If you want looks, go for an iPod. If you want something better 'underneath,' get a Zen.
Even if it is a relative rip off...

I've read numerous reviews saying that the sound quality is better on the Zen, and the battery is undoubtedly superior.
And aren't 30gb Zen NXs £160 or so?
